Admission Process

Entry Requirements

ACADEMICS Minimum English language requirement. Along with that a minimum academic record of 65% and above for humanities stream in class XII, and 70 – 80% and above for Science/Commerce stream in class XII will also be required.

  • IELTS : 6.5+ not less than 6.0 in each module
  • TOEFL : 80+ not less than 22 in each module
  • PTE : 55+ not less than 50 in each module (Some universities & Colleges are accepting)

Deadline and Intakes

Canada Universities have 3 intakes for students.

  • Spring : January
  • Summer : May
  • Fall : September

The deadlines for each intake are usually a few months before the start date. It is highly recommended that you apply early to maximize your chances for admission. Some universities even offer rolling admissions, i.e. admissions are open through the year. The major intake for the US is the Fall intake which offers the highest degree of competition but also features the largest number of corporate internships. Deadlines would be 4 months before the start of the programme including visa filing.

Funding Options

Canada is the country which offers up to 100% scholarships on tuition to deserving students. Work Options

International Students studying in Canada can work for 20 hrs. per week and 40hrs per week during holidays or Vacations. Dependents (spouse / partner) of students can work full time. Canadian universities and colleges provide Co-op programs in which a student can work as part of the course in their related field and also earn credits for it. Students are eligible for a Post Study work permit for a period of 3 years if the study program is for a minimum period of 2 years. Otherwise the work permit is for a period same as the duration of the course.
